Dynamic Yield Named a Leader in Personalization Engines by Gartner for Fourth Year

We are proud to report Dynamic Yield has been positioned both highest for our ability to execute and furthest for completeness of vision.

It feels like so much has changed since we announced that Dynamic Yield had been named a Leader by Gartner® in its last Magic Quadrant™ report for Personalization Engines during July of 2020. At that time, the world was still adjusting to life with COVID-19, unsure of what the future would hold. But even then, it had become abundantly clear that life as we knew it had changed forever – with the lion’s share of experiences moving online, consumers were engaging with brands and buying in completely new and unique ways.

This not only made catering to each individual’s in-the-moment needs much more important, but also created higher overall expectations in regards to how they find the right products to purchase, meals to order, podcasts to listen to, content to stream, and so forth. Recognizing the acceleration would create a newfound demand and esteem for personalization, we increased the R&D group at Dynamic Yield by 15% and doubled the size of our data science team.

Leading up to the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant report, we’ve launched dozens of new features, capabilities, services, and improvements – and all to the same platform we’ve been building since the very beginning. That’s why I couldn’t be prouder to share that Dynamic Yield was not only named a Leader in this year’s report but also positioned both highest for our ability to execute and furthest for completeness of vision.

The secrets to our success

With AI’s role in marketing increasing, our best-in-class algorithms include self-training deep learning recommendations models that help teams predict customer intent and affinity in real-time. And we’re working on making sure the output of these machines becomes more and more actionable, clear, and measurable to the business.

As technical teams play a larger role in decision-making and experience development, our open architecture prioritizes flexibility, security, connectivity, scale, and governance. And because of Dynamic Yield’s superior UI and streamlined workflows, both marketers and developers can easily use the platform to collaborate on omnichannel personalization campaigns, with agility.

We closely monitor the market, analyzing predictions on trends expected to shape the industry, using the insights gained to inform our product roadmap. But more importantly, almost 70% of the features developed in 2020 were based on direct feedback from those who use the Dynamic Yield platform most, our customers and partners. Why? Because it is their remarkable and innovative work that pushes us forward.

Their reviews of the Dynamic Yield platform in places like Gartner Peer Review, TrustRadius, and G2 Crowd confirm our steadfast commitment to building the technology they need to thrive in a highly competitive global marketplace.
