About Our Sales Director
Dynamic Yield is on the lookout for an ambitious, motivated, and exciting sales manager with a specialized focus in the gaming industry for our Global Sales Team. Dynamic Yield is already an established market leader in the global gaming industry; this role’s major initiative will be to continue that foothold, strengthen it, and ensure our role as a global leader within the gaming sector. Our sales managers will be crucial in coordinating our sales teams’ goals with industry-specific strategies, design innovative approaches to customer challenges, and utilize analytics to build solutions for customers, ultimately driving revenue.
Our “Gaming” Sales Manager’s principal responsibilities will include generating, developing, and expanding business opportunities inside the gaming industry and interacting with industry leaders and executives. This role will shape the way our organization presents data, crafts strategy, and creates business solutions that will educate and inform those thought leaders to embrace Dynamic Yield’s unique approach to meeting their business needs. Additional responsibilities will include managing the complete sales lifecycle and collaboration with technical and customer-facing internal teams. - Build genuine and effective new customer relationships. Nurture those relationships from initial product demonstration through budgeting and pricing, leading to closure
- Build an internal revenue plan reflecting portfolio and prospective clients
- Deliver web-based and in-person sales presentations and demonstrations of variable technical complexity, responding to changing business needs
- Generate opportunities leveraging existing relationships or through cold outreach
- Attend conferences and marketing events and generate quality opportunities
- Collaborate with DY’s product, data-science, customer success, marketing and professional services departments to improve the sales process and experience both internally and externally
- Occasional travel to meet prospects, customers, and trade shows
Optimal Skills for Success:
- Experience in the online gaming industry a must
- Experience in software sales (SaaS) - preferred
- A strong interest and ability to rapidly learn and grasp technology and business concepts
- A desire to work in and learn from a very multicultural and international environment
- Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to quickly adjust to unforeseen conversational shifts
- First-rate interpersonal skills and relationship building
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative
