DYNAMIC YIELD EVENTS PRIVACY POLICY

Dynamic Yield Ltd., and in its subsidiaries and/or affiliates (“Company”) support certain events (the “Event“) independently and/or in some cases together with co-sponsors, co-hosts, or partners (“Partner”). Registration to the Event is carried out through the Event’s landing page. Company is the owner of the Personal Data collected and processed through such website according to this Privacy Policy and shall act therein as the Controller, as such term is defined under the GDPR (as defined below), where applicable.
The privacy and security of Company’s customers, respondents, and visitors are of paramount importance. The Company is committed to protecting the data you share with us and operates according to all applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. This Privacy Policy explains how the Company processes information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual (“Personal Data“) collected through the use of the Event’s website.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Company defines the term “Visitor” as an individual that visits the Event’s website, and Data Subject, as anyone whose Personal Data is processed by Company according to this Privacy Policy. The term “process” shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the GDPR, i.e., any operation carried out on Personal Data, including collection, organization, storage, alteration, use, erasure, etc. Any information stored on the Event’s website is treated as confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by authorized personnel only. The Company implements and maintains appropriate technical, security, and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and use, and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft, or disclosure. In the event that despite such efforts, such event does occur, we shall act according to the requirements of applicable data protection laws.
What information we collect. The Company collects, records, and analyzes the information of Visitors to the Event’s website. We may record your IP address and use cookies. Furthermore, the Company shall collect and process any Personal Data that you (or anyone on your behalf) shared with us voluntarily in the Event’s website forms, such as when you register or are being registered for the Event. The Event’s website is not intended for children eighteen (18) years of age or younger, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data relating to children.
The purpose of processing personal data. The Company uses the collected Personal Data to enable electronic registration to the Event, to provide services related to the Event in the period leading to the Event and during the Event itself, and to collect payment when required, however no credit card details or information about payment method are being kept. The legal basis for the above processing of the Personal Data is for the performance of the agreement between Visitor and/or any Event participant registered by Visitor and Company. In addition to the above, where Visitor has approved the receipt of future promotional messages from the Company, the Company and/or its Partners, as applicable, saves and uses the collected data to provide said Visitors with information regarding future conventions or events also following the completion of the Event, and the legal basis for such processing is Visitor’s explicit consent.
Sharing of personal data. The Company may also share such information with Company’s sub-contractors (including Partner, to the extent applicable) in order to provide a requested service or transaction or to provide services relating to the Event such as name tag printing, offer special sessions during the Event, or for email automation services etc. (solely in the event Visitor’s explicit consent has been granted for future communication). In the event that consent has been granted for such cookies, such sharing of data may also be carried out in order to analyze the Visitor behavior on the Event’s website. All engagements with such third parties are carried out according to applicable data protection laws and the requirements of the GDPR. SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS, THE COMPANY HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY AND ANY OBLIGATIONS FOR ANY HARM OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY PARTNER’S FUTURE COMMUNICATION TO DATA SUBJECTS NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY (TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE).
Cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the Event’s website to a Visitor’s hard disk. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. If you choose not to accept our cookies, we cannot guarantee that your experience will be as fulfilling as it would otherwise be. The use of cookies is widespread and benefits the Visitor.
Links to other websites. Please be aware that while visiting the Event’s website, Visitors can follow links to other websites that are beyond our sphere of influence. The Company is not responsible for the content or privacy policy of these other websites.
Data Subjects’ Rights. In accordance with the rights of the Data Subjects according to the applicable data protection laws, Data Subjects can at any time update, amend, or request to delete their Personal Data by sending a written message to Company’s Data Protection Officer at: privacy@dynamicyield.com. Please note, however, that in the event that the legal basis for the processing of such Personal Data is the performance of an agreement, such rights shall only be applicable in the event that the registration to the Event is canceled, as otherwise such registration cannot take place without the processing of such Personal Data. In any event that Visitor has explicitly consented to any process of his/her Personal Data, such consent may be withdrawn at any time. Company will promptly notify the Data Subject in the event of any known unauthorized access to, or use of, the Data Subject’s Personal Data.
Geographical location. The Company’s “Data Region” is a data center located within a defined geographical area where Visitor data is stored. Personal Data may be transmitted between Data Regions. The Company processes Personal Data solely in its offices in Israel or in data centers located in the United States or in the European Union. For Visitors whose registered address is in the European Union, all processing of Personal Data is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations following the Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR“), and Company’s processing takes place in accordance with the GDPR. Company processes Personal Data as a Controller, as defined in the GDPR.
Retention and Deletion. The Company will not retain Data Subject’s data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable data protection laws or regulations. Hence, in the event that the data is collected for the purpose of providing the Event service and the legal basis is the performance of the agreement, such Personal Data shall be deleted following the completion of the Event, and whereas the Personal Data is collected and processed based on Data Subject’s explicit consent, such Personal Data shall be kept for as long as Company may provide Data Subject with future communication based on Data Subject’s explicit consent.
Acceptance of these Conditions. We assume that all Visitors have carefully read this document prior to agreeing to the process by the Company of their Personal Data. Kindly note that any consent is entirely voluntary. If someone does not agree with this Privacy Policy, they should refrain from agreeing to the processing of data upon registration. However, some Company’s services may then become unavailable, as the services provided by the Company require such processing of Personal Data. Your said consent to the process of Personal Data may be withdrawn by you at any time by delivering a written message to Company’s Data Protection Officer at: privacy@dynamicyield.com. We reserve the right to change the Event’s Privacy Policy as necessity dictates, upon suitable prior notice. This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Event’s terms.
Legal Obligation to Disclose Personal Information. We will reveal a Data Subject’s Personal Data without his/her prior permission only when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of this information is required by applicable laws.
